Application and Handling
Surfaces must be free of dust, grease, oil and water. Use isopropyl alcohol as cleaner on both surfaces. Bond strength depends on surface area in direct contact with the tape. Apply firm pressure for a proper bond.

Yes. BiTape 901G is a 1.1 mm heavy duty double sided tape with grey closed-cell acrylic foam backing. This heavy duty double sided tape delivers peel adhesion 1,100-1,500 gf/10 mm (180°), dynamic shear 7.3 kgf/cm² at RT, static shear 1,000 g at 23 °C and 500 g at 93 °C on stainless steel sustained 7 days. Service -20 to 120 °C.
Heavy duty double sided tape 901G requires surfaces free of dust, grease, oil and water. Isopropyl alcohol is the recommended cleaner. Apply firm pressure across the entire contact area for correct wet-out. Rust, flaking coatings or contamination must be mechanically cleaned before bonding.
Yes. The closed-cell grey acrylic foam in this heavy duty double sided tape resists UV, atmospheric weathering and temperature cycling -20 to 120 °C. Dynamic shear holds 7.2 kgf/cm² after heat exposure and 8.9 kgf/cm² after water exposure. Typical outdoor applications: exterior signage, architectural panels, automotive emblems, trailer panels.
BiTape 901G heavy duty double sided tape is specified for transportation, construction, metalworking, electronics and graphics production lines. Used as an industrial strength double sided tape alternative to spot welds, rivets or screws in structural panel-on-frame assembly, trailer panels, architectural glazing trim, emblems and trims.
901G heavy duty double sided tape is grey 1.1 mm for opaque heavy-duty industrial assemblies, peel 1,400 gf/10 mm (125 oz/in) at 24 h. 510T is clear 1 mm for transparent bonds on glass. 912N is a 2.3 mm black structural acrylic foam tape for thick composite aluminum panels and LCD-to-polycarbonate bonding. 901G is the heavy-duty workhorse.
BiTape 901G heavy duty double sided tape is available in standard widths 6, 12, 19, 25 and 50 mm with 33 m roll length. Custom widths and die-cut shapes on request from master rolls up to 450 mm width. Shelf life 12 months from date of manufacture, stored at 21-38 °C and 50% RH.
