Foam Gasket Tape — Single-Sided PVC Sealing

A foam gasket tape is a single-sided PVC foam tape with acrylic adhesive on one face, engineered to seal, cushion and absorb impact between two surfaces. BiTape foam gasket tape covers two thicknesses — 203N at 1/8 in and 206N at 1/4 in — both delivering 2.2 psi compression deflection per-ASTM D-1667 and 12 oz/in steel adhesion per-ASTM D-1000. Use it for weatherstripping, refrigeration chamber sealing, HVAC gaskets and door / window sealing.

Specify BiTape 203N (1/8 in) for thin-profile sealing on doors, windows, lids and cabinets where the closure gap is small and a discreet seal is required. Specify BiTape 206N (1/4 in) when the gap is larger or surfaces are uneven — typical applications are refrigeration chambers, large lids and industrial access points where the foam must compensate surface irregularities. Both tapes share the same PVC foam, acrylic adhesive, service temperature -22 to 176 °F and compliance (MVSS 302 self-extinguishing).

BiTape 203N and 206N are single sided foam tapes — adhesive on one face only — engineered for permanent gasket and sealing applications where only one surface needs to bond to the assembly. The opposite face is exposed PVC foam that compresses against the mating surface to deliver the seal. For double-sided foam bonding (mounting panels, badges, mirrors) specify the BiTape PE foam tape range (4203B, 4500B, 485N) or the acrylic foam tape range (510T, 901G, 912N).

BiTape foam gasket tape (203N and 206N) is rated for service from -22 to 176 °F. This window covers refrigeration and freezer chambers on the cold side, and HVAC ducts, automotive cabin components and exterior sealing on the hot side. Both tapes are self-extinguishing per MVSS 302, fungal-resistant and oxidation-resistant — suitable for indoor and outdoor service.

Both BiTape 203N foam gasket tape and 206N one sided foam tape are available in standard widths 1/4 in, 1/2 in, 3/4 in, 1 in and 2 in.
