The PET backing delivers greater dimensional stability than the paper backings of 0960B and 0962B, making it ideal for precision assemblies requiring stability under mechanical stress. Full transparency is an advantage in devices where aesthetics or visual inspection matter. Service range -4 to 248°F (-20 to 120°C).

Clear PET Tape for Packaging — LSE Substrates

Excels at packaging products with low surface energy plastics such as PP and PE — substrates notoriously difficult to bond with conventional tapes. Chemical resistance and residue-free removal make it suitable for packaging where finish cleanliness is critical, including outdoor applications.

Application and Handling

Surfaces must be free of dust, grease, oil and water. Use isopropyl alcohol as cleaner on both surfaces. Bond strength depends on surface area in direct contact with the tape. Apply firm pressure for a proper bond.
